Dr. Brett Finlay is a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia. He has published just under 500 research papers and enjoys international recognition for this work. Dr. Finlay led the group that sequenced the SARS genome and developed the vaccine for that devastating disease. He is an officer of the Order of Canada -- the highest Canadian civilian recognition.
