Andrew Stanton is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, and voice actor based at Pixar Animation Studios. His film work includes writing and directing Pixar's A Bug's Life, Finding Nemo, and WALL-E, the live-action film Disney's John Carter, Finding Dory, and co-wrote Monsters, Inc. as well as all three Toy Story films.
The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet.
