Chef Nathan Lyon is known for his simple and innovative cuisine featuring fresh, local ingredients. He is chef and co-host of Growing A Greener World (PBS) and host of Good Food America with Nathan Lyon. He was also the creator and host of A Lyon in the Kitchen. He was nominated for an Emmy in 2013 for “Outstanding Culinary Host”. Before graduating from Le Cordon Bleu culinary school, he received a B.A. in Health Science from James Madison University. Nathan also serves as a Sustainable Seafood Ambassador with the Monterey Bay Aquarium and is author of the cookbook Great Food Starts Fresh.
