Danish gypsy brewer Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø of the bar Tørst, and Canadian chef Daniel Burns of the Michelin-starred restaurant Luksus come to Google to discuss their new cookbook, "Food & Beer," dedicated to elevating and pairing beer with high-end dining. With a dialogue running throughout the book, Food & Beer examines the vision and philosophy of this duo at the forefront of a new gastronomic movement. The book highlights the dual visions of the authors and their spaces—Tørst, which is more rustic and relaxed, and Luksus, which is more sleek and refined—both in a shared space in Greenpoint, Brooklyn where they elevate beer to the level of wine in fine dining.

Daniel Burns is the Canadian mathematician-turned-chef responsible for some of the most innovative dishes ever to be placed beside a beer glass. He introduced beer to high-end dining at their beer bar Tørst and accompanying Michelin-starred restaurant Luksus

Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergso

Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergso is the brewer who cofounded Tørst and Luksus. He's also involved with Evil Twin Brewing.
