Hernández who on his inspirational journey of achieving his dream of becoming a NASA astronaut after starting out as a migrant farm worker and applying to NASA for 12 years! He also shares his experience as part of the crew for the Space Shuttle mission STS-128 to the International Space Station. José has been featured in Oprah, 30-Minutes, and other programs.

José Moreno Hernández, is an American engineer and a former NASA astronaut. Hernández was assigned to the crew of Space Shuttle mission STS-128. He also served as chief of the Materials and Processes branch of Johnson Space Center.
